Tarek is broadly interested in the politics and poetics of (re) building, particularly in “post-conflict” settings. He previously explored this theme within various humanitarian settings.
Tarek received a BA in Public Health Studies from the Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) and an MSc in Environmental Design from the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment at the University College London (London, UK).
